When using PowerPoint on your computer, if you're not fond of the default colors provided by the manufacturer, you can easily pick a different color scheme from an image already on your computer. It's not too difficult either. Today, I'll guide you on how to extract color codes in PowerPoint.
How to Get Color Codes in PowerPoint
Step 1: Visit the website Color Hunt to choose a color palette you like and download it to your computer. Color Hunt offers a variety of color schemes and color combinations to ensure your presentation slides have the most harmonious colors.
Step 2: After downloading, insert the image into a corner of your PowerPoint slide by selecting the Insert > Pictures tab. Make sure to insert it in an outer corner only.
Step 3: Click inside the content box in PowerPoint, then select the Format tab. We'll use the color for Shape Fill, but you can do the same for Shape Outline, Shape Effect, Text Fill, etc. Choose Shape Fill > Eyedropper, then the mouse pointer will turn into a pen, simply move that pen to the color palette you want to sample and click to apply.
And here's how it all turns out.
If you no longer wish to use the Eyedropper, simply press the Esc key on your keyboard to exit Eyedropper mode.
