The opening day of TFT APAC Vietnam qualifiers unfolded smoothly with the participation of nearly 300 gamers. This event attracted renowned competitors and streamers, including the promising contender C - Em Chè DTCL. Despite their popularity, they had a comical descent to near the bottom of the scoreboard after four entertaining matches.
Although starting decently with rankings of 5th, 3rd, and 4th in the first three matches, the final battle of the day left Em Chè at the bottom of the standings. This outcome disappointed many loyal fans as 16 points easily eliminate any contestant this season. Fortunately, redemption remained a possibility after mistakenly relying on their 'cleansing card' Ekko.
Deciding to 'reset' in the final match, Em Chè opted for the Ekko Carry strategy, acquiring this champion early on. Teaming up with the favored Targon Tribe by Riot, they confidently selected all attack and diamond core components to increase the chances of obtaining a 3-star Ekko.
