1. How to set GIF as Windows 11 desktop background
The Lively Wallpaper app allows you to set dynamic wallpapers for free. Besides the built-in dynamic wallpapers, you can choose GIFs, locally stored videos, or even use YouTube videos as your desktop background through URL.
Step 1: Download the Lively Wallpaper app from the Microsoft Store using the link provided below.
Step 2: Click Open to directly launch the app or navigate to Start Menu to open the app.
Step 3: Press Next to proceed.
Step 4: Click On if you want the app to start with Windows > Next.
Step 5: Select OFF if you want to keep the default Taskbar appearance > Next. Note, you can choose CLEAR to blur the Taskbar.
Step 6: Press OK to continue.
Step 7: Click on your favorite wallpaper and instantly see the dynamic background applied.
2. How to set video as Windows 11 desktop background
Step 1: Click on the '+ Add Wallpaper > Browse' icon.
Step 2: Select the video you wish to set as wallpaper > Open.
