Skin bumps around the eyes can dent your confidence. But worry not, here's an incredibly effective method to tackle them at the root.
Many women suffer from the unsightly appearance of skin bumps on the face, affecting their self-esteem. This condition arises from disruptions in the formation of collagen beneath the skin's surface, a deficiency in essential minerals, or external factors such as staying up late or inadequate skin hygiene leading to clogged pores and the accumulation of debris under the skin, forming skin bumps.
You can opt for spa treatments to address skin bumps, but they can be expensive. Here's a gentle, simple, and highly effective method to get rid of them.
1. Treating skin bumps with garlic
Garlic has long been seen as a natural antibiotic with potent antibacterial effects, effectively combating bacteria, fungi, and preventing the growth of bacteria, thus limiting the development and spread of skin bumps. Moreover, garlic also stimulates hormone secretion and promotes the regeneration of new skin cells. You can apply one of the following methods:
- Method 1: Using garlic extract
In this method, simply crush garlic and extract the juice. Then, use a cotton swab to soak in garlic juice, gently apply and lightly rub on the skin bumps. Leave it like that for 30 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
- Method 2: Treating skin bumps using a mixture of lemon extract and garlic
This method is very simple, you just need to mix a few drops of lemon extract into garlic extract, then use a cotton swab or cotton ball soaked like in method 1 and apply onto the skin bumps. Leave it like that for about 20 minutes, then rinse off with water.

General notes on treating skin bumps:
- Garlic extract can be quite spicy and lemon extract acidic, so while performing, you should sit back or lie down on a bed to avoid water dripping into your eyes.
- Before applying garlic extract or the mixture of garlic and lemon extract, you should wash your face with warm water to ensure the skin is thoroughly clean, and pores are opened. Doing so allows the antibiotic properties from garlic to penetrate deep into the skin and work effectively.
2. Treating cystic acne using basil leaves
Basil leaves contain numerous vitamins such as C, A, E, as well as minerals like Fe, Ca... that can moisturize, nourish the skin, and soothe the skin improving the metabolic processes within the skin.
This method of treating cystic acne is very simple; you just need to crush a handful of clean basil leaves, then use a nylon glove to apply and gently rub the basil leaf mixture onto the cystic acne spots. Afterwards, use a gauze pad to hold the mixture in place on the acne for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with water.
When carrying out either of the two methods for treating cystic acne, remember to wear a face mask and apply sunscreen when going out... along with a diet rich in green vegetables, you'll notice the cystic acne spots gradually reduce, blur, and disappear altogether.
