If you seek a tranquil, serene pilgrimage destination where humans and nature coexist harmoniously, then Bhutan is the place you can't miss. Join our 5-day, 4-night Bhutan Tour: 'Pilgrimage to the happiest country on Earth' for experiences found nowhere else.

Bhutan, a landlocked country in the eastern Himalayas, boasts landscapes ranging from subtropical plains in the south to steep mountains in the north, part of the Himalayas. Its culture is deeply intertwined with Tibet, situated on the 'Silk Road', once a bustling trade route between China and the Indian subcontinent.

Despite being one of the smallest economies globally, Bhutan experiences rapid growth. Living standards are steadily rising, currently among the highest in South Asia. Notably, in this Buddhist nation, they don't gauge development through Gross Domestic Product (GDP) but prioritize the Gross National Happiness (GNH) index, emphasizing well-being.

Embark on a 5-day journey to Bhutan with Mytour and uncover the secrets of this enchanting kingdom. With a direct flight, you'll save 7-11 hours of layovers and have more time to explore.

From the moment you board the plane, behold the majestic Himalayas right before your eyes, concealing the peaceful nation of Bhutan. Upon landing at Paro airport, a guide will assist you through customs into Bhutan.

On the first day of the Bhutan tour, the group will head to the capital Thimphu, a city situated at an altitude of 2,400m. In the largest city of Bhutan, where tradition blends with modernity, you'll visit various landmarks.
Thimphu Post Office – Here, a rich collection of stamps is preserved, and you can even create a personalized stamp using your own image.

National Memorial Chorten – This is the national memorial stupa with exquisite architecture, commemorating the 3rd king and the 'father' of modern Bhutan. It's also a place for prayers for peace and prosperity.

Buddha Dordenma Statue – Cast in bronze and gilded with gold, towering at 51m, housing 125,000 small Buddha statues ranging from 10-30cm. It's one of the tallest Buddha statues in the world, situated atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Thimphu.

Thimphu Dzong – A fortress monastery built in 1641. Today, it serves as the king's administrative office and houses various government agencies. During the summer, Buddhist leaders also reside here.

On the second day, bid farewell to Thimphu and head to Punakha. En route, explore Dochula Pass at 3,050m, connecting Thimphu and eastern Bhutan. From here, marvel at the majestic Himalayas. Later, indulge in delicious Bhutanese cuisine for lunch, energizing for the next destinations.

Punakha Dzong – Built in 1637 by the founder of Bhutan, it's the oldest and largest dzong in the country. Formerly the seat of government until 1955 when the capital moved to Thimphu.

Chimi Lhakhang Temple – A profoundly sacred pilgrimage site, especially for couples seeking fertility blessings. Wander through rice fields and villages to reach this temple.

After a long active day, retire to the resort. The next morning, return to Thimphu. En route, stop for a memorable photo at the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge.

Back in Thimphu, after rest and lunch, continue your journey to Simply Bhutan Museum. Dubbed a 'living museum,' it's established by young groups to preserve Bhutan's unique cultural values.

Explore the weekend market, a chance to learn more about the lives of Bhutanese people. You can also purchase local produce and souvenirs here. Experience traditional archery, a favorite pastime of the locals.

On the fourth day, check out and head to Paro. Spend a day experiencing Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, perched on a 900m high cliff. It's a sacred site in our pilgrimage journey where you'll engage in various exciting activities. In the evening, enjoy a Gala Dinner and a cultural music and dance performance unique to Bhutan.

On the last day in Bhutan, before returning to Vietnam, visit the final two destinations: Kyichu Lhakhang Temple, ancient and sacred, and the National Museum built in the 17th century to protect Paro Rimpong Fortress. At the museum, delve into the natural history and cultural heritage of the Bhutanese people.

At the end of the 5N4D journey in Bhutan, you'll feel an extraordinary sense of peace, understanding the core values of happiness in life. This will be a cultural, religious, and spiritual journey that will surprise and linger in your memory.
