How to Get There:
To ascend Mount Omuro, take a bus from Ito Station or Izu-Kogen Station (both are shinkansen high-speed train stations) to reach Omuro Volcano and its surrounding areas.
– If departing from Ito Station, the journey takes approximately 40 minutes, with a ticket price of around 710 yen, and two trips every hour.
– Alternatively, take a bus from Izu Kogen Station (a 20-minute journey, one-way ticket priced at 360 yen, with two trips every hour) and disembark at the last stop. The cable car to the summit of Mount Omuro is located right next to the bus stop.
