When visiting the United States, make sure to venture into the expansive western region adorned with natural wonders, particularly the majestic Arches National Park in Utah. Arches National Park left me with a myriad of emotions.
Explore the stunning arches of Arches National Park during your American travels.
Travelers exploring Arches often find respite in Moab, a quaint town offering a plethora of services concentrated along its main thoroughfare. Accommodations here mostly consist of motels, featuring two-story buildings surrounding spacious courtyards serving as parking lots for guests.
Due to the virtually non-existent public transportation system in the area, the most efficient mode of travel in the American West is by private vehicle.

The scenery on both sides of the road is as beautiful as a painting, with fiery red rock mountains standing tall amidst the vast barren plains stretching to the horizon. If you're a fan of American cinema, this stunning landscape will feel familiar as it has served as the backdrop for numerous famous films like Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible...

To explore the beauty of Arches, you need to be in good health for hiking and trekking. With an area of up to 310 km², Arches consists of many areas for visitors to spend weeks exploring.
With only three days to spare, I chose three of the most acclaimed areas of Arches: Fisher Towers, Devil’s Garden, and Fiery Furnace. While the first two areas can be explored independently, visiting the third area requires following a professional guide to ensure you don't get lost in the wilderness.
Compared to other national parks, the infrastructure of Arches is relatively primitive. The climbing routes are hardly marked and are instead indicated by stones, rocks, and stacked branches at intersections. Along the way, we often encountered gray rabbits hopping amidst the bushes.
Fisher Towers is the farthest area from Moab that we scheduled to visit on the first evening because the scenery is most beautiful at sunset, when the sunlight turns the red sandstone cliffs into sharp spires. Meanwhile, Devil’s Garden and Fiery Furnace are located in the park's central area, the most crowded with visitors, and home to dozens of gigantic natural stone arches, hence the name Arches National Park.

Over millions of years, wind and rain have eroded the rock walls, creating over 2,000 sandstone arches scattered throughout the park, forming fascinating landscapes. Each arch is unique, leaving us in awe at every turn of our journey.
The most fascinating aspect lies in the towering arches above; we had to trek a considerable distance to reach there. As we approached, the arches opened up like natural windows, offering visitors a panoramic view of the vast landscape below, welcoming refreshing breezes as a well-deserved reward for the mountain climb.
