Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Dalat sits amidst a 25-hectare landscape atop Phoenix Mountain overlooking Tuyen Lam Lake. Established in 1994, with over two decades of existence and growth, it serves not just as a haven for Buddhist practitioners but also as an ideal sightseeing destination for tourists and pilgrims seeking spiritual solace and daily Buddhist rituals.

The main hall covers an area of 192 square meters. Inside, the statue of the Buddha Shakyamuni is approximately 2 meters tall, holding a lotus flower in his right hand. The front corridor features four rows of faux wooden columns, with a brightly glazed tiled roof above, and a subtly curved roof projecting a modest Vietnamese style.

Upon entering, you will encounter the main hall situated right at the center, adorned with intricately carved decorative motifs, pleasing to the eye. Looking towards the outside of the main hall is the bell tower, which houses a bell weighing up to 1.1 tons.


Surrounding the meditation center, you will encounter lush, towering pine trees creating a refreshing and ideal space for midday relaxation. Additionally, there are splashes of delicate white impatiens flowers blending into the vast expanse amidst the grand pine forest. The beauty of the grounds will provide comfort for visitors whenever they step foot here.
