For those looking for a change of scenery, inhaling the fresh sea air over the weekend without having to travel too far, Nước Ngọt Pass is a rather intriguing choice.
Weekend getaway to Long Hai, camping at Nước Ngọt Pass to embrace the sea breeze.
Nước Ngọt Pass is approximately 25km from Vũng Tàu and only about 2km from Long Hai Beach. It's a small, short, yet beautifully winding pass, bordering between Long Dien and Dat Do districts in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

Nước Ngọt Pass is also a haven for motorcycle enthusiasts. With winding coastal roads spanning 5 km, you'll experience the thrill of conquering this slightly daring route. In return, you'll touch the beauty of untouched nature and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze as you descend, creating indescribable emotions.

From the center of Ho Chi Minh City, head towards Thủ Thiêm Tunnel, through the tunnel, drive about 2km, then turn right onto Đồng Văn Cống Street. Keep going straight until you reach Cát Lái Ferry. Pay 10,000 VND for the ferry (for both the vehicle and 2 passengers), plus about 20 minutes on the ferry. Then follow the directions to Tôn Đức Thắng Street, drive straight to the end, turn right, and continue for another 50km to reach Long Hai. After that, follow the coastal road for about 2km to arrive at Nước Ngọt Pass.

Setting foot on Nước Ngọt Pass, the first thing that overwhelms you is the pristine scenery, the refreshing sea breeze, and the majestic beauty of the rugged cliffs along the coast.

The beach at Nước Ngọt Pass still retains its untamed and clean features, ideal for adventure groups to camp overnight and immerse themselves in the fresh, cool nature. The golden sand here spreads smoothly, intertwined with the peaceful green of the calm ocean. Besides beach activities, you can also indulge in affordable and delicious seafood in the early morning dew.

Camping along the coastal route of Nước Ngọt Pass, you'll experience a DIY camping adventure, setting up small tents right by the beach. Sleep right by the shoreline, hearing the distinct sound of waves and the wind rolling close to your ears. Enjoy fresh seafood just pulled from the nets, play outdoor games during the day, and dance energetically under the starlit sky at night.

Nước Ngọt Pass is a suitable tourist spot for those who love the sea but dislike the hustle and bustle. In addition to the beautiful beaches along the coast for camping, you can also visit some famous landmarks in this area such as Dinh Cô, Minh Đạm Mountain, Trúc Lâm Chân Nguyên Monastery, salt fields, and more.
