Discover 9 enchanting destinations in Nam Du Archipelago that truly define 'paradise,' perfect for those who appreciate beautiful and pristine seascapes.
Experience the Captivation of Nam Du Island
Hon Lon (Big Island)
Nestled in a stunning bay within the Gulf of Thailand, Hon Lon is acclaimed as the most beautiful beach in Nam Du Archipelago. Lush coconut trees, some aged 70-80 years, cast graceful shadows. Here, you can indulge in squid fishing or marvel at vibrant coral reefs. Bai Cay Men is less crowded, allowing you to play and swim freely. The crystal-clear and refreshing seawater adds to the charm. Moreover, you can also gather shells along the rocky shore.

Hon Mau (Mau Island)
Hon Mau spans approximately 200 hectares with over 120 households clustered along the lowest part of the island. The majority of the islanders are engaged in fishing. Due to its small size, as soon as you set foot here, the islanders, from the elderly to the children, can tell you're a newcomer.

Among the 21 islands in this archipelago, nature seems to favor this small island by gifting it with exquisite beaches. There are a total of five beaches on the island, including two fine white sandy beaches—Bai Chuong and Bai Nam; the rest are rocky shores: Bai Bac, Bai Da Den, and Bai Da Trang. Bai Nam serves as the frontage of the island and remains tranquil throughout the year, making it a preferred stop for trading vessels and, consequently, a more populated area.
Bai Ngu Beach
Located on the western side of Cu Tron, Bai Ngu got its name from a royal visit by King Gia Long passing through Xiem. During the dry season, this beach retains fresh water while other areas face severe drought. There is a well here that locals believe was dug when the king visited, hence it is named the King's Well.

Hon Dau (Oil Island)
Similar to Hon Lon, the beach remains intensely green, with coconut trees lining the shore. Hon Dau is relatively large compared to other islands, with about 90% covered by pristine forests. Close to the shore, numerous coral reefs are developing, not as beautiful as in deeper waters, but the seawater is clear and pure. Some coconut trees lean towards the sea, providing a comfortable spot to lie down and take a nap amidst the refreshing breeze.

Hon Ngang
Hon Ngang boasts the calmest harbor in Nam Du, attracting thousands of boats, dinghies, and fish farming cages. The journey from Hon Lon to Hon Ngang takes a 30-minute ferry ride, with two departures daily at 7 AM and 3 PM.

Hon Ngang serves as the central hub of Nam Du. The Hon Ngang pier is teeming with thousands of boats, dinghies, and nearly 60 fish farming cages anchored without any apparent order. The portside consists of a stretch of stilt houses made of bamboo and concrete, running approximately 2 km. There's only a narrow path about 1.5 meters wide, with no means of transportation.
Nam Du Lighthouse
The Nam Du Lighthouse is situated atop Hon Lon (Cu Tron) in An Son commune. It's considered the tallest lighthouse in Vietnam, perched more than 300 meters above sea level. Although not overly grand, the Nam Du Lighthouse offers the most beautiful island views, allowing you to easily survey the entire island and providing an excellent backdrop for photography.

Bai Chuong
The most fascinating part of visiting Nam Du is immersing yourself in the cool, fresh waters of Bai Chuong. The beach resembles a giant freshwater lake surrounded by coconut palms spanning generations. The long stretch of sandy shore, crystal-clear azure waters extends for tens of meters, revealing the sea bed even at a considerable distance.

Adjacent to it are two captivating rocky shores. Bai Da Den boasts a variety of beautiful rocks, mostly shiny black ones, inspiring the locals to name them accordingly. The rocks here come in various shapes and colors. When the sun shines down, the rocks beneath the sea shimmer with captivating hues. Some exhibit unique patterns, with veins twisting in shades of green and red, resembling agate patterns. A 15-minute walk from Bai Da Den leads to Bai Da Trang. The entire beach is characterized by the pure white color of the rocks, small stones ranging from finger-sized to palm-sized lying along the shore. This beach has almost no sand, only white rocks. Anyone visiting these two rocky beaches often takes home a few rocks as souvenirs from the sea.
Humiso Nam Du Tourist Area
Endowed by nature with a diverse landscape, including beaches, coral reefs, a primeval forest with ancient trees, and breathtaking scenery that is hard to find elsewhere. Standing atop Humiso, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Nam Du archipelago.

Visiting Humiso allows you to experience moments of relaxation, enjoy the fresh air, and admire the stunning natural scenery. Staying here, you can choose a seaside wooden bungalow or a tent for accommodation.

At Humiso in the early morning, you can witness the sunrise emerging behind the islands, creating a picturesque scene. Enjoying a cup of coffee while gazing at the morning sea is a truly delightful experience. In the afternoon, tourists can explore the islands, go snorkeling to observe coral reefs and marine life. For those who enjoy mountain climbing, this is an unmissable place, as the hillside above Humiso faces the sea, with trails leading up the hill for researching plants and animals inhabiting this forested area.

Sand Beach
Located on Hon Lon (Cu Tron Island) in the Nam Du archipelago, Sand Beach is the ideal place for you and your loved ones to 'escape' to a true remote seaside destination.

This is a rare beachfront guesthouse and restaurant in Nam Du, far from the hustle and bustle of the residential area. It is constructed with natural materials, offering a sea-view and, most notably, the opportunity to snorkel right at the beach without going far.

Not only does Bãi Sỏi Beach offer a beautiful and romantic architectural space, but it also features a restaurant with a diverse menu served by professional chefs at reasonable prices.

If you stay at Bãi Sỏi Beach, waking up early to catch the sunrise from 5:30-6:30 is a must. The most impressive part is that you don't need to go anywhere; just open the door and sit inside the room (with a sea view) to enjoy the sunrise.
Additionally, independent visitors can also visit Bãi Sỏi Beach for a beach day with a fee of 20,000 VND/person (including sanitation and fresh water bathing).
