Countless are the times I've been enchanted by the winding coastal roads adorned with the intense azure hue resembling watercolor paintings.

On the last day of the year, a friend of mine suddenly planned a spring trip by riding a motorcycle along the coastal route from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Ke Ga - Phan Thiet, crossing the Ngoan Muc Pass - Nha Trang, down the Mimosa Pass - Da Lat, and then the Ca Pass - Phu Yen. Our group - the 'fun-loving singles' - all eagerly embarked on exploring the beautiful scenery along the Vietnamese coast. And off we went!
We departed from Ho Chi Minh City at 6 a.m. on the 26th of Tet, smoothly following the new route to Vung Tau, turning towards Binh Chau and riding along the coastal road to Ke Ga cape. Despite covering nearly 250 kilometers in the morning breeze, none of us felt fatigued, as the cool wind was invigorating.
'Happiness is the journey, not the destination,' this saying was thoroughly embraced throughout our journey. The coastal route was indeed breathtaking, with diverse terrain, rich scenery, and the raw, simple beauty of the places we passed through far surpassing our initial expectations.
Even when the fuel ran out along the road, it became an opportunity for us to capture through the lens the image of vast stretches of rice fields extending gracefully towards the foot of the mountains, while in the distance, flocks of storks gracefully soared in rhythm with the swaying waves of rice. We were so engrossed in admiring the scenery and singing, like romantic wanderers on the road who knew no weariness because of the beauty surrounding us.

'Our sea is incredibly beautiful!'
I can't count how many times I've exclaimed this phrase while watching the sunrise over Ca Na sea, mesmerized by the winding roads like evening paintings, enchanted by the intense azure hue of Dai Lanh sea like a watercolor masterpiece, overwhelmed by the raw grandeur of the sea viewed from Ca Pass, drifting in heavenly emotions while standing atop Mui Dien lighthouse, gazing along a splendid long coastline with pride...

I've lost track of how many times I've been stunned by the beauty of the sea, from familiar places like Vung Tau, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang to Phu Quoc, Binh Ba, Tuy Hoa, Quy Nhon, Da Nang...Capturing beautiful images through the lens, feeling moved by the places I've been through, and admiring the masterpieces of coastal photography taken from above by journalist-photographer Gian Thanh Son. Yet, every time I pass by the Vietnamese coast, I am once again amazed by what nature has bestowed upon this S-shaped land. Beautiful to the point of admiration and awe.
The four of us were like wanderers amidst the land and sky, singing and admiring. Unable to forget the feeling of driving to conquer long roads through windy mountain passes, hearing the whispers of trees and the chirping of birds, walking in the mist amidst the roaring sound of waterfalls, freely wandering amidst the vast land and sky...

Ben - my friend who specializes in solo backpacking and exploring foreign lands - said he had been to many places, explored many famous landmarks in foreign countries, but had never seen anywhere like Vietnam. Stretching from North to South with diverse landscapes, rich cultural characteristics of each region, and especially everywhere is beautiful, with plenty to explore and discover. Especially the Vietnamese sea stretching along the S-shaped land, the more you explore, the more beautiful it appears.
I keep recalling the verse 'rivers, mountains, Southern water, Southern king...' and I grow even more fond of the land of Vietnam. I've even written my own poetry:
... When we were born into this world
We never promised to love each other for a lifetime
But the hot blood has engraved a promise to the sky
That we will love our country...
