Add in the quaint villages and ethnic minorities, completing the picture.

All of this awaits you on the 4-day, 3-night Northwest Vietnam tour, traversing Moc Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, and Sapa. This is the current New Year's Hot Tour. Let's uncover the details with Mytour.

Your journey begins with pick-up at either the National Theater or the National Convention Center, heading to Moc Chau. Along the way, stop and rest, capturing moments at Thung Khe Pass – Hoa Binh, also known as the White Stone Pass, praised as the “Europe of Hoa Binh.” In the afternoon, arrive at the hotel, check-in, and enjoy a highland-flavored lunch at the restaurant.

In the early afternoon, the group visits the enchanting Tea Hill Heart, acclaimed as one of the most beautiful areas in Moc Chau, always surrounded by stunning greenery, whether in the chilly winter or the blossoming spring. Next, explore the Na Ka Plum Valley, a vast, flat valley that transforms into a sea of plum blossoms, creating a dazzling white blanket.

Before returning to the hotel for rest and dinner, the group stops by the mesmerizing Dai Yem Waterfall, the final attraction of the day. Despite its modest height of over 100m, Dai Yem exudes captivating beauty with a rich tapestry of vegetation.

The following day, the journey heads to Dien Bien. During the transfer, be mesmerized by the landscapes of the Northwest mountains, interspersed with villages along the Da River. Especially, conquer the Pha Din Pass, one of the 'Four Great Passes' in the Northern mountainous region, connecting Son La and Dien Bien provinces.

After lunch and some rest, explore historical landmarks associated with the legendary Dien Bien Phu campaign, such as the Dien Bien Phu Command Bunker – a mountain-crossing tunnel where General Vo Nguyen Giap, Chief of Staff Hoang Van Thai, and the Command directed the campaign, and the Dien Bien Phu Museum.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and cultural exchange in Ban Mnen, a village of the Black Thai ethnic group. It's an opportunity to experience the local way of life. The group stays overnight in Dien Bien, continuing the exploration the next morning.

On the third day, continue discovering the renowned historical sites in this historic land of Dien Bien, such as Hill A1, Doc Cat Bunker, Muong Thanh Bridge, Nam Ron River, and the Victory Monument of Dien Bien Phu. Here, you will vividly feel the intensity of that past battle and silently appreciate those who sacrificed for the peace we have today.

After exploring the aforementioned destinations, the group moves on to Sa Pa. Along the way, amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Northwest Vietnam, the guide introduces the landmarks the group passes through, such as: Muong Cha, Muong Lay, Hang Tom Bridge – the border of Dien Bien and Lai Chau provinces, Phong Tho,...

After lunch and a rest, the afternoon is dedicated to conquering one of the next 'Four Great Passes,' O Quy Ho Pass, which runs through the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. At the pass summit, a stop is made for memorable photos at Heaven's Gate, followed by a visit to Silver Waterfall, a majestic waterfall at the source of the Muong Hoa stream beneath O Quy Ho Pass.

In the evening, you're free to explore Sa Pa by night and indulge in the city's grilled specialties. On the last morning, the group heads to Sa Pa Swing Tourism Area, featuring impressive landscapes like the revered ancient Buddha statue, making you feel like you've entered another realm.

Afterward, the group moves to the modern Fansipan Tourism Area cable car, with the sensation of gliding through a mythical sea of clouds. Here, the group visits the spiritual area of Fansipan and collectively ascends 600 steps to conquer the “Roof of Indochina,” Fansipan peak at an elevation of 3,143m above sea level.

Conquering the summit of Fansipan marks the perfect conclusion to this impressive Northwest Vietnam tour. After lunch, the group returns to Noi Bai Airport, concluding the journey. A small note, due to the geographical conditions of the region, the weather can be chilly, so be sure to prepare suitable warm clothing for your trip!
