The type of seaplane used by Hai Au Airlines is the Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX - one of the safest seaplanes in the world capable of taking off and landing on water, meeting strict standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration, the International Civil Aviation Organization, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam for commercial use.
Flights depart from Tuan Chau Port, Halong City with durations of 25 minutes, 35 minutes, or 45 minutes during various time slots. All flights are operated by highly experienced local and international pilots trained to the highest safety standards. Especially, captains have extensive experience flying seaplanes from Australia and Canada.
