It took me numerous days, journeying from the upper reaches to the lower course, searching for the most discreet and authentic beauties to perfect a collection of stunning nature photos along the Tra Khuc River in Quang Ngai province.
Down the flow of the Tra Khuc River, captivated by the foremost scenic views of Quảng Ngãi

The Tra River (or Tra Khuc River) is renowned in the land of Quảng Ngãi, having inspired countless poetic works. Like many fellow natives of Quảng, I have immersed myself in the cool, refreshing waters of my homeland. Dakdrinh and Nuoc Trong are the two primary sources of the Tra River, merging at the three-way river junction in the mountainous Son Ha district, a place possessing a charming landscape known to few.

On both riverbanks, the lush green of extensive rice fields stretches endlessly. Local residents make use of small islands in the river, cultivating various types of vegetables. These vibrant vegetable gardens emerge amidst the flowing water, enhancing the landscape with a more charming, dreamy, and intimate ambiance.

Bridges connecting the two shores, ranging from grandiose to modest, serve as vital arteries supporting local economic development. Among them, Truong Xuan Bridge stands out, an architectural marvel embedded in the Quang Ngai land through generations.

Mount Thien An and the majestic Trà Khúc River are deeply ingrained in the consciousness of the people of Quang Ngai, hailed as the foremost scenic wonders of this region. The gentle afternoon sun bathes the river's surface in a sparkling glow. Mount Thien An stands contemplative, silently overseeing the Trà Khúc River. The combination of Mount An, Trà Khúc River, creates a picturesque landscape, becoming an icon for the Quang Ngai region.

Trà Khúc River also brings abundant aquatic resources, with some becoming local brands in Quang Ngai. 'Don' is not just a uniquely named dish; it carries the essence and livelihood of the people here. Depending on preferences and taste, each diner will have their unique experience with 'Don.' This dish promises a novel gastronomic adventure for those fortunate enough to savor it.

The lives of the local residents are closely intertwined with the gentle and genuine river life, much like the river itself. Along the tranquil river surface, Quang people toil in agriculture throughout the year. They forge lifelong connections amidst the vibrant watermelon fields along the red-soiled riverbanks, and the shrimp ponds downstream.

My happiness lies in carrying my camera along the riverbank, observing the peaceful life during warm evening sunsets, and capturing memorable moments in photographs. Trà Khúc River, like many other tranquil rivers across various homelands, is, to me, the epitome of peace and beauty.
