Listing the top attractions to visit in Jeju, exploring transportation options, and estimating travel time.
2. Booking flight tickets
For those traveling from Vietnam, consider direct flights to Jeju without the need for a visa.
If coming from the northern region of South Korea, departure from Gimpo Airport is convenient.
3. Renting accommodations
On Jeju Island, you can find budget-friendly guesthouses or luxury hotels, depending on your preferences.
Some Tips:
– If traveling in a group, consider renting a shared room based on the number of people (rooms for 4, 6, 8 people, etc.) for a more comfortable experience.
– Some tourist spots are quite far from residential areas, so renting a car or motorcycle (if you have a driver's license) is necessary. If using public transportation (buses), be proactive with timing because the distance between bus stops is significant, and wait times in these areas are usually 30-60 minutes.
– Jeju is a seafood paradise, offering fresh and affordable seafood dishes. You can rest assured about the quality, freshness, and reasonable prices of seafood here. Particularly, try the sashimi at Dongmun Market or along the seafood alley... Another unique dish to try is Jeju black pork.
Beautiful Attractions in Jeju for 3 Days

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak
Seongsan Ilchulbong peak is where the sunrise greets the day. This mountain was formed by a volcanic eruption 5,000 years ago. Seongsan Ilchulbong is renowned for its majestic scenery at sunrise, ranking number 1 on the list of 50 must-visit attractions in South Korea.
Dol hareubang
The stone grandpa statue, an icon of Jeju Island. Legend has it that if a woman wants to have a son, she only needs to touch the nose of this stone statue. And if you look at the statue from behind, you can somewhat see the origin of this legend, as the shape of the statue from behind resembles the male genitalia (or a mushroom, if you think more innocently). This is also partly why Jeju is nicknamed the “Island of Love.”
Maze Land Park
On the left is a stone maze in the shape of the Dol hareubang statue, while the circular maze on the right is made from trees. All the materials that make up Maze Land are found on Jeju Island and belong to the theory of “Three Abundances” (Stone, Wind, and Women), which characterize Jeju.
Rainbow in Jeju
Budget-friendly hostel located in the heart of downtown on Jeju Island, providing convenient transportation. The price for a 4-person dormitory room (guest house) like Rainbow in Jeju is only 22,000 won per person per night, including breakfast (breakfast includes: sliced bread, eggs, milk, rice, kimchi, and seaweed soup). The host of this hostel, like other hostel owners on Jeju Island, is very friendly and kind.
Hyeopje Beach
Hyeopje Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Jeju. This beach is also among the top 10 must-visit beaches in South Korea.
Osulloc Tea Hill

Osulloc Tea Hill is near the Tea House and Innisfree House. Osulloc is a leading famous tea brand in South Korea with many products made from green tea (tea, ice cream, cakes, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals...). You can come here to enjoy the scenery and taste green tea ice cream. At Innisfree House, you can find all the products of this brand. All Innisfree products are made from ingredients on the island. You can also find some products sold exclusively here and not elsewhere in South Korea.
Hamburger Joint
Located approximately 2.5 kilometers away, there's a uniquely charming Hamburger joint. Not only is the decor refreshingly eclectic, but the food itself sets this place apart. Here, Hamburgers are crafted from black pork, a Jeju delicacy, ensuring a taste unlike any industrially produced counterpart you've ever sampled.
The Mayflower Café
Just 1 kilometer from the aforementioned Hamburger joint lies The Mayflower Café. Dominated by a serene white ambiance, here, self-service is the norm. After savoring your coffee, settle your bill by dropping payment into the hanging white basket by the door—pay as you please. Due to its somewhat remote location, expect considerable wait times for the bus (60 minutes per trip).
Black Pork Eatery

Indulge in black pork, one of Jeju's most renowned culinary destinations. A meal for four like this one typically costs around 70,000 won. After just a single bite, you'll understand why black pork is a specialty here. It's truly exquisite!
Handam Beach Walking Trail
If you're a fan of the SBS TV drama 'Goddess of Marriage', you can visit Bomnal café located right next to the beach, as this café was featured in the show. The café's interior may not be overly impressive, but its location right by the sea makes Bomnal attractive to anyone passing by.
Mount Hallasan
This is the highest mountain in South Korea (1,950 m). Hallasan is the dormant volcano that ceased activity over 5,000 years ago. Along with Hallasan National Park, it is one of the three largest national parks in South Korea (the other two being Jirisan National Park with Mount Jirisan, and Seoraksan National Park with Mount Seoraksan).
