Capturing attention, Vụ Vừ Già Pó, a H'Mong man from Mèo Vạc (Hà Giang), embarked on an extraordinary journey, covering over 5,800 km crossing the Himalayas to Azad Kashmir (Pakistan). The online community buzzes with excitement upon learning about Remi Camus's expedition from Tibet to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam.

Remi Camus, a 28-year-old French adventurer, navigated the waterways along the Mekong River with just a small raft. He conquered a total of 6 countries (China, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam) and faced two incidents of illegal border crossing, once in Laos (leading to a month-long detention) and once in Tiền Giang.

Remi Camus shared, 'I chose the Mekong River for its geographical significance, flowing from the China-Tibet border through Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and reaching the South China Sea in Vietnam. It is intertwined with the lives of 70 million people along this journey. I've encountered supporters in doing this. With the knowledge I possess, we need to raise awareness among people and governments about the necessity to clean the Mekong River, making the lives of those dependent on this remarkable water source better.'

Remi Camus expressed that his journey along the Mekong aimed to enhance awareness about safe water usage across the 6 countries he traversed.

Recalling the Laos detention, Remi Camus stated, 'They suspected me of being a spy and possessing weapons. Later, they claimed that I attempted illegal entry. It took a whole month for me to convince them otherwise.'

Previously, Remi Camus garnered global attention by solo-running across the Australian continent to support his charity organization, aiming to provide clean and safe water for people worldwide.
