Life in this place is completely devoid of any concept of modern technological gadgets such as iPhones, iPads... The material deprivation of these children will make you realize how abundant and fortunate you are. Despite limited educational opportunities, these children are truly well-behaved, from their interactions with strangers to their daily help for parents.

Mù Cang Chải is beautiful in every season, leaving a lingering sense of nostalgia and longing when you leave. But perhaps the liveliest season in Mù land is when the rice ripens. Around late September, early October, if you have the chance to visit, you can't help but marvel at the beauty of nature, of the land, and the harvest from the hardworking hands of the locals. The golden terraced fields with ripe rice undulate endlessly, reaching beyond the eye. The fragrance of fresh rice will make you want to breathe in deeply. The sound of the mountains blends with the cheerful laughter of mothers and sisters bending down to harvest rice, creating a desire for a simple and rare happiness in this urbanized world.
In the season of water pouring (May, June), Mù Cang Chải also appears before the lenses of photographers in an incredibly magnificent way, although photos from this season are less common than the harvest season. The green of the sky reflects on the flooded fields, blending with the red of the soil, and seems to become even more perfect when sparkling in the sunlight. During this time, the colors in Mù land are a complete contrast to the radiant autumn with ripe golden rice, appearing cool, but mysterious and attractive in a very unique way. You may still be amazed when you see the giant mirrors on the fields, resembling a shimmering carpet of golden rice.

When heading to Mù Cang Chải, tourists often take the route along National Highway 32, through Nghĩa Lộ, Tú Lệ, then crossing Khau Phạ Pass, one of the four great mountain passes in Vietnam, before reaching Mù Cang Chải. Recently, with the completion of the Nội Bài - Lào Cai expressway, many people have changed their route through Lào Cai, crossing Ô Quy Hồ Pass and the areas of Tân Uyên - Than Uyên in Lai Châu before arriving in Mù Cang Chải. Although the new route may be longer, the travel time is equivalent to the old route, with wide roads, not crowded, and many beautiful scenes that you will surely see for the first time.
Take a trip to Mù Cang Chải once to understand why this place always attracts many photographers from both inside and outside the country.
