Is April deceiving me? I made the decision to seek Hà Anh Tuấn for an answer. And then on Saturday, I took a direct ride to Đà Lạt with excitement to get a bit closer to Hà Anh Tuấn at the magnificent The Veston Concert. I brought along the dreamy purple Galaxy A72, reminiscent of the landscapes of Đà Lạt, as my companion to document the journey.Arriving in Đà Lạt quite early, I decided to head to a café to capture some Instagram-worthy photos, just like how the younger generation often does.
The Married Beans on Hùng Vương Street is the café I opted for because I noticed many people checking in on Instagram, and the space is relatively spacious, both indoors and outdoors.
The interior is cozy, with a gentle ambiance and plenty of photo opportunities.
The ordering and mixing counter is spacious, designed with an open layout. You can sit at the bar-style counter to enjoy your drinks and watch the staff at work.
Sitting here, snapping a check-in photo to make sure I've got my drink ordered 😃
View from inside the café.
Making the most of the café's space and the 64 MP camera on my Galaxy A72, I seize the opportunity to have my friend snap some Insta-worthy shots.
The clear blue sky and white fluffy clouds are too inviting not to capture. This shot was taken around noon, around 11 o'clock, under the bright sun and against the light.
Trying out a wide-angle shot with the 12 MP wide camera on the Galaxy A72.
Same spot, but this time using the standard lens for a typical wide-angle shot.
The Galaxy A72 captures people with smooth skin tones, without overdoing it, while keeping facial details sharp and clear.
Inside the café's premises, there's an abandoned train head model. I wandered in and serendipitously got some shots I absolutely love. One thing's for sure, the Galaxy A72 handles photo processing and outdoor shots just right for quick, usable snaps.
Other corners of the café are adorned with plenty of greenery, creating a nature-friendly atmosphere.
Capturing up close a shot in the cool greenery of the café's garden.
After indulging in endless Instagram-worthy moments, I decided to try the famous bánh căn along Nhà Chung street.
What sets apart the flavor of the bánh căn here is the dipping sauce with a hint of xíu mại, very distinctive and deliciously fragrant.
Can't forget a bit of chả either.
After eating, I continue my journey to a café for some cool refreshments and relaxation.
A close-up shot of the moss-covered tree trunk to see the level of detail on the Galaxy A72.
Before the concert started, I took the opportunity to find something to eat and capture the moment. I snapped this photo in the twilight with light from the lamps on the ceiling shining down. I also zoomed in 3x to get close to the piano keys without any glare.
A long line of eager and orderly audience members waiting to enter the gate. I quickly took a shot to send to a friend, capturing the bustling atmosphere.
Everyone is waiting to take a check-in photo with The Veston Concert in the background.
An audience member meticulously prepared and dressed according to the concert theme. This shot was taken completely against the light in the dark surroundings, with the only light source coming from the poster behind.
Neatly arranged records awaiting fans to purchase and take home.
It's my turn to check in.
Snapping a selfie to flaunt on social media. This one was taken by my friend using another A72.
The stage lights haven't come on yet, everyone is focused on the content being displayed on the wall screen.
The sound and lights are ready, ready to immerse in The Veston Concert's music and enjoy.
I'm impressed with this photo taken with the Galaxy A72. When I took this shot, the intense stage lights happened to shine on it. The surprising ability of the Galaxy A72 to handle low-light conditions and complex lighting is remarkable.Although I bought tickets in the Tuxedo area, one of the seating categories with a clear view of the stage, my seat was arranged behind the P section, so it wasn't very close to the stage, estimating a distance of about 40 - 45m.
The only way I could get closer to and approach Hà Anh Tuấn was to rely on the zoom capability of the Galaxy A72. Like the photo above, I surpassed the crowd in front, raised my phone high, and reached him by zooming in 3x and taking the shot.
The stage, sound, and lighting at The Veston Concert are a truly wonderful combination for both auditory and visual perception.
Each song is a stage with a different theme where Hà Anh Tuấn explores the audience's emotions, following the story he wants to tell through his sharing and heartfelt expressions.
From the same angle, still using 3x zoom, I adjusted the brightness slider on the screen to the lowest and captured this shot.
The lighting on the stage constantly changes and includes complex colors. Considering the equipment and price range, I must say the Galaxy A72 did a great job handling photos in low light conditions, complex lighting, and even zoom.
At this moment, I went outside and accidentally discovered this angle looking up at the stage, which was perfect for capturing when Tuấn Ngọc and Hà Anh Tuấn were singing a duet together.
Another angle when I stealthily climbed up the stairs in the rear area to get a panoramic view of the stage. If I remember correctly, I was zooming in around 4x for this photo and dimming the surroundings to make the stage stand out, focusing solely on it.
Trying out a full 10x zoom to get closer to Hà Anh Tuấn as the stage dims its lights.
Going up a bit higher and using the wide-angle lens to capture the crowded and lively scene of the stands.
The audience is attentively enjoying the show and continuously applauding with joy.
Looking sideways past the chicken wings, the Dalat College of Education building and the stage shine artistically amidst the darkness.
Projectors are arranged to display images on the walls of Dalat College of Education.
Every detail of the stage in the concert is meticulously invested in and prepared.
After the concert, I stayed an extra Sunday night in Dalat. Before heading back, I strolled around the Dalat night market, enjoying the breeze and watching street hip hop performances.
The dancers' flexible and free movements are swift, capturing details in low-light conditions is quite a challenge. With this successful shot, once again, I praise the photography and image processing capabilities of the Galaxy A72.
His Majesty lies quietly, enjoying the music and performances captured with a 3x zoom camera. My journey to get close to Hà Anh Tuấn has ended with a mix of emotions and many memorable photos to gradually post on social media. In summary, after this trip, I realized April doesn't lie; April indeed has many eager fans waiting and getting closer to Hà Anh Tuấn, immersing in the artistic atmosphere of The Veston Concert.
