1. SkyDrive Adventure – a one-of-a-kind thrill
😁 Opting for a flight from Sydney to the mesmerizing Gold Coast – one of the world's top 10 beautiful beaches – to rejuvenate and take a leap into the extraordinary, experiencing the exhilarating SkyDrive, also known as SkyDrive.
👭 My adventurous companion is Linh, a lively 19-year-old. Somehow convinced this young lady to take on the thrill with me, as she's afraid to jump solo. Both of us snagged a comprehensive package on Klook, covering filming and photography for 6 million VND.
🔅Additional 65 AUD per person for membership registration and accident insurance, hoping for a safe landing 🙌🏻. The grand total for both of us was around 14 million VND, still a better deal than purchasing on the spot! Heard two Chinese youths paid on-site, and rumor has it they shelled out over 1,500 AUD 😤.
After booking online through Klook and receiving the successful payment notification, you'll get a convenient e-voucher in your Klook app account or email. Just show it on your phone and you're good to go. Convenient + cost-effective, why not!? The service confirms within 24 hours and requires booking 3 days in advance.
Onto the crucial part: How does the skydive feel? You can check out my short vlog.
✨Skydive Experience – One of a kind!✨😁 Opted to fly from Sydney to Gold Coast – one of the top 10 beautiful beaches globally for a change and to experience the thrill of skydiving, also known as SkyDrive. 👭 My companion is Linh, just 19 years old. Somehow managed to convince her to take on this adventure with me, as she's too scared to jump alone. Both of us purchased the service on @Klook (if anyone wants details, I'll leave the link at the end) with a full package including filming for 6 million VND. Can't understand why people are so low-tech, not using the app. I booked it here: http://bit.ly/2vNRoTG. Convenient e-voucher in your app account, just show it on your phone and you're good to go. Convenient + cost-effective, why not!? The service confirms within 24 hours and requires booking 3 days in advance. Onto the crucial part: How does the skydive feel? 🧘🏻♀️ First, you'll be guided into the 'Big Banana' flying position. It involves stretching out in front, creating the curve of an Australian banana. The Aussie banana is big, hence the legendary BigBanana pose. This position ensures comfort during free fall, avoiding injuries for both you and the professional jump assistant. Never allowed to transition from the Aussie banana to our banana or the plantain. Not enough curvature might be an issue 😅. 🧘🏻♀️ Next, you'll be suited up and, when ready, the whole group is crammed onto the plane to prepare for the big show. 🆘 Thought I'd be terrified, maybe even have an accident, but no. As the plane glides over clouds and winds, the helicopter door opens. One by one, each of us is pushed out of the plane by the professional skydiver behind. The moment I saw Linh nearly free-falling out of the plane without the legendary Banana pose, I could only think in my head: 'Oh 💩' and that was it. I'm free falling! I swear, in the first 5 seconds of gliding through those clouds, all I could think was 'How on earth do I get into the right poseeeeee, oh my godddd I'm gonna die.' But luckily, I got paired with the professional hippie-style skydiver (this guy looked like a true hippie). With a few twists, both of us got into the right BigBanana pose. About 10 seconds later, he released the parachute... When the parachute opens, whatever fluids are in your stomach, bladder, or bleeding through your cells all mix up. It's a face of shame! Up there, everything is freezing, lips trying to smile but teeth chattering... the face is tightly stuck by the goggles, adding a creepy touch. But because this experience is so much fun and surpasses my life's fear, it feels like adrenaline is injected into every brain cell ❤️. First, you'll be guided into the flying position Big Banana. It involves stretching out in front, creating the curve of an Australian banana. The Aussie banana is big, hence the term Big Banana. This position ensures comfort during free fall, avoiding injuries for both you and the professional jump assistant. Never allowed to transition from the Aussie banana to our banana or the plantain. Not enough curvature might be an issue 😅. Next, you'll be suited up and, when ready, everyone will be brought onto the plane to prepare for the big show.
🆘 Thought I'd be terrified, maybe even have a face as pale as a sheet, but no, folks. As the plane glides over clouds and winds, the helicopter door opens. One by one, each person is pushed out of the plane by the professional skydiver behind. The moment I saw Linh nearly free-falling out of the plane without the legendary Banana pose, I could only think in my head: “Oh 💩” and that was it. I'm free falling!

2. City Sightseeing Bike Journey
In Japan, it's not a real visit without taking the train; in Australia, not cycling means you haven't truly experienced the country. Australians are passionate about sports, and that's why there's a delightful bike tour in Sydney ❤️.

Opted for a group tour on Klook, not only to meet friends from various countries but also to have a knowledgeable and friendly Guide enlightening us about each passing location. With an Aussie guide with a genuinely friendly accent, along with 9 strangers from 6 different nations. Some, like me, decided to cycle solo. A lady from the U.S., Asian descent, from Arizona, suddenly turned to me and said, “Who's gonna take photos for single ladies like us?” We both laughed, and I gained a new friend 😁.
Cycled around Sydney for 4 hours, weaving through every nook and cranny, passing by iconic places like the Opera House, Sydney Harbour, the vast National Botanic Garden (almost as big as Central Park in New York), Hyde Park, Anzac Memorial, Contemporary Art Museum, Chinatown... I realized that Sydney may look modern, but the essence of cultural heritage and the beauty of nature are meticulously preserved and sophisticated.

Discovered some delightful things and unique aspects that you can only notice when biking around in this pristine country:
⭐️Australians despise shadows because every time the guide wants to introduce a location, they stop right where the scorching sun hits – in a leisurely manner.
⭐️Australia, with the world's highest skin cancer rate, may not be due to the ozone hole but their love for sun-kissed tan.
⭐️Finding handsome guys in Australia is a breeze. Skip the gym and head to the park. Buffed, ripped, or smooth as a mango, all on full display. Just take your pick.

This experience is truly fantastic for me. It clears away all the chaos of mainstream media, the shocking news in newspapers, or endless newsfeeds. Cycling not only brings me closer to nature but also connects with people. It also improves health after days of excessive indulgence...
