Guide to Embedding Flash in PowerPoint
Inserting flash into presentations might involve using supporting software, but this can be cumbersome for those less familiar with downloading and installing programs.
You don't need to install any supporting software; you can easily insert Flash files into PowerPoint with the simple steps below:
Step 1: Create a folder to store both the Flash file and the PowerPoint presentation file.
Step 2: Open the PowerPoint file (Open the Mytour-Flash PowerPoint.pptx file).
Step 3: In the Developer menu (1), under Control, choose the More Controls icon (2) as shown below:
Step 4: In More Controls -> select Shockwave Flash Object and click OK.
The mouse cursor will allow you to draw a rectangle on the Slide to fit the size of your flash content.
Step 5: Right-click on the rectangle and choose Properties.
In Properties, enter the Flash file path in Movie. Since the Flash file is in the same folder as the PowerPoint file, you don't need the full path, just the Flash file name in the Movie field. Example: Car-speakers.swf
Now you can preview it; if it doesn't display, check the swf file path and name. A small error can prevent the Flash file from appearing.
This Mytour tutorial has just guided you on how to insert flash into PowerPoint, quite straightforward with easy-to-follow steps. Good luck!
If you want to copyright your product on PowerPoint, you can easily do this as we've shared. Copyrighting is essentially creating a Watermark in PowerPoint, allowing you to add a logo or image to slides for a more dynamic, visual presentation.
