Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO) has just unveiled the special program “Embrace the new spring, indulge in Asean culinary delights” at dining areas D22 & D26 – Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat Airport from January 25 – 31, 2016.
This is one of the initiatives by Sasco to welcome the new spring of 2016 while offering passengers delightful experiences.

Countries in the Asean community are known for their distinctive cultural features, where cuisine plays a key role, symbolizing ancient traditions. Each dish is a blend of various elements, influenced by ingredients, spices, and the cook's meticulous care. Regional specialties are also shaped by natural geography and weather conditions.
Throughout Southeast Asia, Asean countries' cuisine showcases creative sophistication, ranging from intricate traditional delicacies to simple street food. Each delicious dish carries the pride of the nation when shared with friends from all corners of the globe.

During this week, SASCO chefs, in collaboration with culinary expert Vo Quoc, have curated a menu featuring many delicious dishes from Asean countries. Customers can choose from a variety of flavors, including familiar spicy dishes like Neorm Masour (shrimp and meat vermicelli salad) from Cambodia, Laap muu (Pork salad mixed with sticky rice) from Laos, to renowned specialties like Bak kut tek (Herbal pork rib soup) from Singapore, mango sticky rice from Thailand, or Malaysian satay grilled meat.

For those looking to discover unique and delicious dishes, options like Pancit Palabok mixed noodles from Indonesia, Shan-style fish rice from Myanmar, Brunei's lamb stir-fried noodles, or the Philippines' Kare kare (oxtail stew) are intriguing suggestions for passengers. Vietnamese food enthusiasts can opt for Quang-style noodles from this exquisite menu.
During the year-end when the number of flights and special transport needs are significantly high, Sasco aims to enhance diverse and enriching activities at the terminal to provide comfort and a plethora of convenient options for passengers before each journey. The program “Welcoming the new spring, experiencing Asean cuisine” is also one of the activities bringing a breath of fresh air to the Sasco restaurant system.
