Emergency Landing: Alaska Airlines Responds to Fuselage Issue

An Alaska Airlines flight from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California had to make an emergency landing on the evening of January 5th, after a window and a section of the aircraft fuselage came loose during the flight.

The flight numbered 1282 by Alaska Airlines departed Portland International Airport at 4:52 PM (local time) and had to return to Portland at 5:30 PM. Fortunately, the aircraft safely landed with 174 passengers and 6 crew members, with no casualties reported. Subsequently, Alaska Airlines arranged an alternative flight to transport passengers to Ontario.
