Step 1: Insert the Hiren BootCD into the CD/DVD Rom drive and configure the BIOS to boot from the CD/DVD Rom.
After booting, navigate to the Start BootCD section and press Enter to continue.
Step 2: Navigate to the Partition Tools… section and press Enter.
Step 3: Move the highlight to Partition Magic Pro 8.05 and press Enter.
At that point, the program will list the specifications of your hard drive.
(In this example, the hard drive has one 8GB partition)
Step 4: If your computer has multiple hard drives, select the one with Bad Sectors and remember the details of that partition to isolate the Bad-Sector.
After identifying the area affected by Bad-Sector, press the red X button to delete it, cutting off the bad sector from that partition.
Step 5: When prompted, type OK from your keyboard into the blank field to confirm, then press OK.
