When you detect that your hard drive has Bad Sector, if it's minor, you can use specialized software to isolate and remove the affected areas. However, if it's severe, it's advisable to back up your data to a new hard drive because a hard drive with multiple Bad Sectors can fail at any time.

PartitionMagic Guide: Cutting Bad Sector from Hard Drive
Step 1: Insert the Hiren BootCD into the CD/DVD Rom drive and configure the BIOS to boot from the CD/DVD Rom.
After booting, navigate to the Start BootCD section and press Enter to continue.
Step 2: Navigate to the Partition Tools… section and press Enter.
Step 3: Move the highlight to Partition Magic Pro 8.05 and press Enter.
At that point, the program will list the specifications of your hard drive.
(In this example, the hard drive has one 8GB partition)
Step 4: If your computer has multiple hard drives, select the one with Bad Sectors and remember the details of that partition to isolate the Bad-Sector.
After identifying the area affected by Bad-Sector, press the red X button to delete it, cutting off the bad sector from that partition.
Step 5: When prompted, type OK from your keyboard into the blank field to confirm, then press OK.
How to cut bad sectors on hard drive
Step 6: After removing the partition with Bad-Sector, you need to create a new partition by:
Click on the letter C to create a new partition.
Step 7: Set the parameters as shown below or as desired, then click OK.
Step 8: Then, press Apply to repartition the drive. Exit the program and restart your computer.
Note: If Bad-Sectors are found in a partition with the operating system installed, you will need to reinstall it, and isolating Bad-Sectors will result in data loss on that partition. It's recommended to back up your data before isolating Bad-Sectors.
