To enable Facebook Profile Picture Protection, you need to use the Chrome browser and install the J2TEAM Security extension.
Step 1: Open your browser and visit the following link to install the J2TEAM Security extension on Chrome.

Step 2: Log in to your Facebook account, then right-click on the extension icon at the top-right corner of your browser and select Tools -> Protect Facebook Profile Picture

Step 3: In the new window, click on the Turn On Profile Picture Guard button

Step 4: After enabling the protection feature, reload your Facebook profile page and you will see a shield icon below your profile picture:
