It's the sole dining establishment in Royal City situated on ground level, strategically positioned opposite the majestic statue quartet on the breezy square. Often referred to as the 'chess palace' with a design inspired by the chessboard, but today, let's set aside all those tales to delve into the intricacies of the 'royal feast' table within this royal culinary palace.
1. Embarking on an extravagant culinary journey with a blend of European, Asian, and traditional Vietnamese cuisine at Royal Buffet – The royal-style buffet
When it comes to appetizers, the first thing that comes to mind for many of us is salad, right? Royal Buffet restaurant certainly shows great consideration for us ladies by lavishly catering to this salad section – with an array of mixed salads and fresh greens stretching across a whole row of dining tables.

Opposite this overflowing salad table, those aiming for a diet purely based on greens to maintain their figure can opt for a 100% vegetarian salad with mixed greens, sprouts,... Alternatively, you can choose mixed salads with pig ears, shrimp paste,... providing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Moreover, there are plenty of pickled vegetables to accompany your meal and prevent boredom.

2. The world of fresh seafood like an aquarium with the hotpot feast at Royal Buffet
My favorite thing at Royal Buffet is that even though there are only 2 types of hotpot broth: spicy and non-spicy, the hotpot ingredients are abundant, with fresh green vegetables, and seafood, both large and fresh, overflowing in the ice bucket. Just a glance is enough to delight seafood enthusiasts.

Even if you don't like hotpot, you can still slowly marvel at the variety of seafood dishes, boiled, fried, steamed, grilled,... all prepared by Royal Buffet!

Among the dishes at the frying counter, the most unusual are probably the European dishes, especially lamb. Vietnamese people might not be very used to eating lamb, but in Europe, this dish is very popular. If you're at Royal Buffet, you should try some grilled lamb or lamb with cream sauce! Don't worry, it won't taste too strange because the chef has carefully adjusted the spices and cooking methods to better suit Vietnamese eating habits.

Aside from the grilled dishes, don't forget about the equally tempting frying counter waiting for you. However, I'm currently on a diet, so I reluctantly skipped this counter, only capturing a few impressive dishes for everyone to see.

The countryside market counter of this buffet restaurant is a soothing shade of green, folks. In today's Hanoi, where vegetables are more expensive than meat, just looking at this countryside counter makes you feel refreshed inside.

- The restaurant offers 2 complimentary dishes per table at each meal, one European dish and one Asian dish. Since they're complimentary, you won't have to pay for them, and you can eat as much as you want. If you finish them and still like them, feel free to order more.
- On Saturdays and Sundays, Royal Buffet changes its complimentary dishes to two special dishes: beef/lamb and salted pork knuckle. On these days, the dessert counter will also have additional cake for customers to cut themselves.
- The restaurant has its own parking area connected to the rear entrance, so you don't need to struggle with parking in the Royal City basement when you come here to eat!
- Royal Buffet is located opposite the four-horse statue in Royal City Square and has a uniquely designed chessboard-shaped layout.
- The price for a buffet meal at this restaurant is 298k (Mon-Fri) and 398k (Sat-Sun), but if you make a reservation through the PASGO booking app, you'll only need to spend 253k and 338k respectively.
