Microsoft Excel introduces an additional feature for tagging team members

Microsoft has officially confirmed the deployment of the '@mentions' feature for Excel spreadsheets. Users will soon be able to tag team members or colleagues within their groups.

According to the official Microsoft 365 roadmap, the '@mentions' feature can be used to 'create, assign, and track tasks in a workbook' and will be available for all users by October 2022. However, the feature has now been added to the 'deployment' cycle, and some Insider users with the latest Microsoft Office updates can already use the feature to tag individuals. It's worth noting that the feature is currently only available in the desktop version of Excel.
