The default Start Menu icon on Windows with a window image changes color and effects across Windows versions. However, with familiarity comes boredom. So, how do you change the window icon on Windows to make your computer stand out in the eyes of others? In this article, I'll guide you through making your Start button on Windows exceptionally noticeable.
How to Customize the Windows Start Button
To change the window icon in the Windows Start Menu toolbar, I use a software called Classic Shell. Quickly access the link below to download it.
Step 1: Then, you Install the application as usual on Windows.
Step 2: After Installation completes, use the Windows search tool and search for Classic Shell Menu Setting.
Step 3: Next, look below the Replace Start Button section, here you can choose from a variety of interesting icons or Customize it yourself with Pick a Picture.
Step 4: However, now Classic Shell only displays on one side of the Taskbar, but if you're on Windows 11, the Start Menu button is in the center.
Step 5: To fully resolve this, you navigate to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar. Scroll down to the last line and select Taskbar Alignment > Then choose Center.
