Microsoft Word is a tool that allows you to compose documents quickly and easily. While typing in Word, you may sometimes need to underline brand names for emphasis. So, do you know how to underline brand names in Word correctly? If not, let's open your computer and follow these steps below.
Note: You can't use the Underline feature to underline brand names, doing so isn't the correct standard.
How to Underline Brand Names in Word
Step 1: To underline brand names in Word, click on the Insert tab > Select Shapes > Choose the Line shape icon.
Step 2: Then, place the mouse cursor at the beginning of the brand name > Press and hold the Shift key to draw a straight line, draw it across the entire brand name.
Step 3: Once done, Word will then switch to the Shape Format tab, here you select Shape Outline to change the line color to black and select Weight to choose the line thickness as desired.
