Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Callouts with Snagit for Dynamic Images
Step 1: Launch Snagit. If you don't have it yet, download the latest version. Next, click on the Open the classic capture Windows icon as shown in the illustration.
The Classic Capture Window will appear. Click on Open Snagit Editor to switch to the Snagit Editor section.
Then, select the image you want to add a Callout to.
Step 2: To add text, switch to Drawn and select the icon as shown in the image.
Step 3: To insert text, you can follow either of the following two methods.
Method 1: You can choose to insert pre-made speech bubble templates by clicking on the template icons as illustrated.
Method 2: You can create your own templates by:
- First, select Outline and then Shape. Next, drag down to the Callout section to choose from a variety of speech bubble templates.
- Next, right-click on Fill to set the background color for the speech bubble.
- To add shadow effects, navigate to Effects and choose Shadows.
Step 4: After adding the speech bubble, save the image. Here's the image after adding the Callout.
