1. Hiding wifi on Tenda modem

Step 1: Open your browser and enter the IP address 192.168.0.1 to access the Tenda modem's management page. After accessing the address, log in with the password 'admin'.

Step 2: After successfully logging in, navigate to Wireless Settings, check the box for Hide WIFI, and press OK to save the settings.

2. Hiding wifi on TP-Link modem

Step 1: Log in to the management page using the IP address 192.168.0.1, and enter the credentials (admin) when prompted.

Next, uncheck the Enable SSID Broadcast option and press Save to complete the process.

3. Connecting to a Hidden Wifi

For smartphones, go to wifi settings, choose Add Network (the option may vary for different phones, possibly represented by a plus sign).

In the new window, enter the wifi network name in the SSID field, choose security type as WPA/WPA2 PSK, input the wifi password, and finally, press OK.

For Windows 7 laptops, click on the wifi icon in the taskbar and select Open network and sharing center.

In the new window, choose Set up a new connection or network.

Next, select Manually connect to a wireless network and press Next.

In the new window, follow these steps sequentially:

1. Enter wifi name
2. Choose WPA2-Personal security type
3. Select AES encryption type
4. Input wifi password

Check Connect even if the network is not broadcasting (important)

You should also check Start this connection automatically to let the computer connect to wifi automatically.

Finally, click Next.
