1. Quan Son Lake

3. Ba Vi National Park
Ba Vi National Park is approximately 50km west of Hanoi. Notably, it features a sizable pine forest, making it an excellent camping location.
While on a motorbike, you can ascend Ba Vi Mountain to admire the King's Peak, Tản Viên Peak, Ngoc Hoa Peak, the abandoned church, and many other attractions within a day.
Note that open fires are not allowed here, so consider bringing pre-cooked food if you plan to camp.
4. Thien Son Suoi Nga

5. Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien
Similar to Thien Son Suoi Nga, Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien is a resort enclave nestled in the Ba Vi valley, about 40km from Hanoi.
Here, you'll find picturesque streams and waterfalls with crystal-clear water. Visitors can engage in activities like wave pool bathing, boating, mud mineral baths, and water slides.
In winter, you can also enjoy services like mud baths, thrilling games, sports, fishing, chess, and numerous other recreational activities.
6. Dong Mo
Dong Mo is an ideal spot for outdoor excursions. You can comfortably barbecue and enjoy the fresh air.
They offer affordable rental services for stoves and tents, around 100k, so you don't need to bring too much gear from home.
7. Tam Dao
A highly anticipated destination, especially during winter. Located 70km from Hanoi, a short day trip is a perfect idea. 
An array of structures such as stone churches, sky gates, windmills, television towers, etc., will provide you with enchanting photo opportunities. Here, you can also savor many delicious dishes unique to Tam Dao, including grilled chicken, roasted pig, and winter melon. If you plan to travel to Tam Dao during this season, it's advisable to book your accommodation in advance.
