The Prime Minister has bestowed commendations upon groups and individuals who achieved medals at SEA Games 31, including Esports.
On Sunday, May 22, Esports concluded the final days of competition at SEA Games 31 with gold medals in Crossfire and League of Legends. Meanwhile, the game Arena of Valor secured a silver medal. Overall, this can be seen as a successful SEA Games for Esports in Vietnam, contributing significantly to the nation's overall achievements and affirming Vietnam's Esports position in the Southeast Asian region.

Recently, 19 Esports athletes brought medals back for the Vietnamese sports delegation at the recent SEA Games 31, alongside individual medals and awards. They were all collectively included in the list of 305 outstanding athletes at the event and had the honor of receiving commendations from the Prime Minister.
This is truly a recognition and reward that Esports athletes have long awaited. Unlike other sports, Esports has yet to be recognized as an official sport. Therefore, the Prime Minister's commendations are nothing short of recognition for Esports athletes and teams in Vietnam.

The Prime Minister's commendations for outstanding Esports athletes at SEA Games 31 not only bring joy and pride to the athletes themselves, but also excite the Vietnamese Esports community. Esports now holds greater influence and is more widely disseminated, especially among older generations of audiences - a demographic that has traditionally been harder to reach and understand Esports.

At present, SEA Games 31 has concluded, but the reverberations of this event remain vivid. This SEA Games, held in Vietnam, can be regarded as a resounding success, particularly for Vietnamese Esports, not only in terms of achievements but also in the acknowledgment from diverse segments of the Vietnamese audience.
