After 6 trials of iOS 10.3.3 for both developers and the public, Apple has officially rolled out this update this morning on 20/7.
If you're upgrading from iOS 10.3, the update weighs over 2GB; if from 10.3.2, it's around 80 to over 100MB depending on the device and network.
Similar to version 10.3.2, iOS 10.3.3 includes bug fixes and security enhancements for iOS 10.3.
Apple provides a detailed overview of all the changes in this update on its website. Primarily aimed at fixing vulnerabilities that could allow hackers to exploit a code on Broadcom's Wi-Fi chip and making modifications to the file system.
In addition, there are some other minor changes such as the Find My AirPods feature, Apple ID Settings menu, Podcasts sub-utility, weather forecasts within the Maps app, and iCloud storage...
And, of course, all these changes are exclusive to iPhone 5, iPad 4th, and iPod 6th or newer.
Although this is the final update, there still exist some glitches related to the camera, notification menu, and occasional freezing upon triple-tap interactions, as highlighted in the video below.
Finally, the speed test using Geekbench on the mobile phone iPhone 7 Plus reveals quite impressive results for iOS 10.3.3, addressing the above-mentioned issues with 3526 points for single-core and 5940 for dual-core - a significant improvement compared to version 10.3.2.
