- When departing Vietnam, you are prohibited from carrying documents, materials from government agencies, the Party, and the State, explosives, weapons, and other prohibited items.
- It is forbidden to bring fresh fruits, pickled fish, frozen meat, or dried foods.
- For foreign nationals, when departing Vietnam, you must bring the customs declaration form from your first entry into Vietnam and the departure visa, as you will need to enter Vietnam upon return.
- Do not carry more than 5,000 USD out of Vietnamese territory. When entering Taiwan, you can carry no more than 60,000 TWD. Gold carried should not exceed 300 grams.
- Carry-on and checked baggage must comply with the maximum weight regulations of each airline. Excess baggage will incur additional fees.
- Absolutely do not pack sharp objects such as knives, scissors, or liquids in carry-on luggage.
- If you are carrying items such as cameras, watches, etc., worth over 300 USD, you must declare them to customs to avoid taxation.
