The Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro Vacuum Robot is an intelligent automatic floor-cleaning robot from the Chinese brand Ecovacs. In terms of design, the product features a compact, round design in white, similar to other floor-cleaning robots on the market. The N8 Pro has only one power button on the top cover, making it very user-friendly, even for first-time users.
This is a convenient floor-cleaning robot that supports both vacuuming and mopping functions in a single run, saving time on cleaning and sanitation.
Large Dust and Water Tank Capacity
An outstanding advantage of the Ecovacs N8 Pro floor-cleaning robot compared to other products is its large dust tank capacity (430 liters) and water tank capacity (240 liters), allowing continuous cleaning without the need for emptying. However, according to Mr. T, this capacity is not the largest, as the largest dust tank capacity can be up to 650ml and water tank up to 550ml (Inxni X3 floor-cleaning robot).
Mr. T also shared with us that compared to corded vacuum cleaners, the capacity can be even larger, up to 1.5 liters. Therefore, automatic floor-cleaning robots should only be used in small to medium-sized homes or homes with pets that shed less fur.
Smooth and Quiet Operation of Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro
The maximum noise level of the product during operation is only at 68 dB, equivalent to the sound of normal conversation, so it does not cause discomfort to users. Especially for families with newborns or elderly individuals who may have difficulty sleeping. Furthermore, the 68 dB is much lower compared to other conventional floor-cleaning robot products (average 82dB).
Short Usage Time
According to T, the usage time of this product is either equal to or lower compared to other vacuuming robot models. It takes about 3 – 4 hours to charge, providing approximately 70 – 120 minutes of operation. Moreover, the Deebot N8 Pro vacuuming robot also features automatic return to charging dock after cleaning or when the battery is low. After charging, the device will automatically return to its previous position to continue the work process.
Moderate suction power, good air filtration, and cleaning capabilities.
Despite its relatively high price, both the power (30W) and suction force of this product (2600Pa) are lower compared to other brands. For instance, the Eureka NER800 vacuuming robot offers 4000Pa suction power, Inxni X3 vacuuming robot offers 3000 Pa, or the Shimono X6S vacuuming robot, priced at only 6,500,000 dong, has a suction force of 3200Pa).
However, compared to other models, the Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro vacuuming robot is equipped with an additional OZMO mopping system that adjusts moisture levels for mopping function, effectively cleaning even the toughest stains. Additionally, it can easily climb 2cm high carpets and overcome obstacles, facilitating uninterrupted cleaning.
The machine effectively filters dust with a 3-layer HEPA filter, capturing and retaining fine dust particles as small as 0.6 microns, preventing bacteria and dust from re-entering the environment. Its excellent dust filtering ability ensures that the air inside the house remains clean and healthy, especially important for households with children or the elderly.
Highly sensitive collision avoidance sensors.
Technology is the main strength that justifies the high price of this product. Unlike mid-range and budget vacuuming robots, the Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro vacuuming robot boasts numerous technologies to recognize objects and achieve highly accurate collision avoidance.
- Laser scanning technology enables precise scanning and mapping with four times the accuracy, identifying objects at twice the distance and low-profile objects (such as wires) better than previous models. The device can store maps of up to 3 different houses, suitable for multi-story homes.
- TrueDetect 3D object scanning technology accurately identifies objects ten times better than traditional infrared scanning methods, capable of detecting small objects like toys, shoes,... aiding in navigation and providing superb collision avoidance.
- In addition, the Deebot N8 Pro vacuuming robot also features automatic carpet material recognition to increase suction power and avoid wet carpets during mopping.
Smartphone connectivity.
The intelligent Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro vacuuming robot can conveniently connect and be controlled via smartphone using the Ecovacs Home app in Vietnamese language.
