According to a top executive at Techland, the company plans to create more DLCs, events, and exciting locations in the next five years for the game Dying Light 2.
If the '500 hours of gameplay' in Dying Light 2 still doesn't satisfy your hunger for this outstanding game, rest assured, there's much more awaiting you. Recently, Techland announced a commitment to continuously provide updates for five consecutive years with additional DLCs, events, and even more intriguing locations in Dying Light 2. Despite the game not yet having an official release, this information will somewhat ease any gamer's hesitation when investing in DL2.

It can be said that this is an extremely ambitious and investment-intensive project from Techland, ensuring that Dying Light 2 will become a cash cow like how GTA 5 brought huge profits to Rockstar Games. Such continuous updates will make the game highly replayable, and gamers will be more attached to the game for a longer period.
This isn't the first time Techland has made such grandiose announcements. Not long ago, they also announced that Dying Light 2 would require '500 hours of gameplay' to complete the game (to explore all the interesting aspects of the game), after which the studio had to clarify that the game only requires 70-80 hours to complete the storyline of DL2.

Dying Light 2, developed by Chris Avellone and Techland, is set in a dark world dominated by zombies and is on the brink of apocalypse. The fate of the people in Dying Light 2 will become even harsher, and how they treat each other will become even more ruthless. What makes Dying Light 2 even more interesting is how each character in the game interacts with you. No two are alike, all depending on your choices and how you react to them.
The protagonist in the sequel will be Aiden Caldwell, a character also carrying the remnants of the zombie epidemic within himself. This will be a world not simply 'open'. It will present situations, but with tense periods akin to having a predefined storyline for each area. Techland also promises that the sentiments you experience regarding the storyline in Game of Thrones will be authentically reflected in Dying Light 2. It's a modern world, yet people interact with each other as in ancient times with torches and close combat weapons.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be released on February 4th, 2022, across various platforms.
