The first change occurs right at the beginning of episode 1. In the anime, we see Gojo as a young boy admiring his father's doll, enchanted by its beauty. In the manga, there's no detail about the protagonist as a child. In the original manga, My Dress-Up Darling starts with Gojo being abandoned by his old friend due to his somewhat 'girlish' hobby of liking dolls.
The next change is how Marin and Gojo first interact. In the manga, she simply accidentally bumps into the male lead and apologizes, but in the anime, their initial encounter is embellished to be truly captivating. Marin unexpectedly appears out of nowhere at Gojo's desk corner, a moment truly heartwarming for the audience. This detail also contributes to a highly entertaining and humorous opening for the main male-female duo.
