With several certifications secured, it indicates that the launch of the successor to the Redmi A2 is approaching.

Photos above depict that the Xiaomi smartphone with model number 23129RN51X will be named Redmi A3 upon its launch in the UAE. This device has also been approved by other certification platforms, such as Thailand's NBTC, Singapore's IMDA, Indonesia's TKDN and SDPPI, as well as Europe's EEC.
The Indian version of Redmi A3, bearing model number 23129RN51H, was certified by the country's BIS agency in December. Unfortunately, none of these certifications provide detailed specifications about the phone. As the name suggests, this is the successor to the Redmi A2, which was officially launched in March 2023. Therefore, it is highly likely that the A3 could debut in the first quarter of this year.

Recalling, the Redmi A2 features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch design. It offers HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. On the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel camera, while on the back, it boasts a dual 8-megapixel camera system. Inside, the Redmi A2 houses a Helio G36 chip, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via microUSB port. The device runs on Android 13 Go edition and provides a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
