Today, the A38 model was discovered on Malaysia's SIRIM certification agency and Indonesia's NBTC with some configuration details. This is also an indication that its launch is not far away.
OPPO A38 obtains SIRIM certificationAs a result, OPPO A38 has appeared on Malaysia's SIRIM certification website with model number CPH2579. The same model number has been found on the NBTC website. Previous listings have revealed that the device will support 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity. It will come pre-installed with ColorOS 13.1 user interface based on Android 13 operating system upon release.

It's expected to be an affordable smartphone with just the right specifications. Currently, there's no official confirmation from OPPO yet, but we can expect the device to be launched in the coming months.
OPPO A38 on the verge of releaseRegarding its name, OPPO A38 will succeed the OPPO A36 launched last year. That device featured a Snapdragon 680 SoC, a 6.56-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels (HD+), a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Providing power to the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W charging.
