According to Mysmartprice, NBTC certification reveals the Redmi A2 will have model number 23028RN4DG. Unfortunately, like most other certifications, data from the NBTC does not disclose anything else about this device.
According to previous leaks, the Redmi A2 will have a design identical to its predecessor, the Redmi A1. The phone is expected to debut in Europe with 3 color options: Black, Navy Blue, and Forest Green, priced at 97 EUR (around 2,470,000 VND) for the 2GB/32GB variant.
The Redmi A2 is expected to feature a plastic body and a circular camera module on the back with a dual-camera setup and LED flash. This smartphone also adopts a waterdrop notch design for selfies, with fairly thick bezels on all sides, especially the 'chin' portion.

Internally, the Redmi A2 is expected to be powered by the Helio G36 chip, paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and users can expand storage capacity via a microSD card, up to 512GB. On the front, the phone features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels).
The rear camera system of the Redmi A2 will include an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth camera. The device will have a 5MP selfie camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. Finally, Xiaomi's upcoming budget-friendly mobile will have a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support, running on the Android 13 Go operating system, featuring dual SIM slots, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity.
