The new Show Changes feature is now available on Excel

Microsoft has rolled out several new features, including implementing Fluent Design principles to modernize the Ribbon interface and command bar, as well as the Show Changes feature, ... for the latest Excel update.

According to release notes, Excel online or on the web has been enhanced with a unique feature called Chart Data Foils. This feature provides visual cues about the source range of cells used to create charts. Users can easily modify this range by clicking on the cell range and dragging across it.

Meanwhile, Excel for Windows and Mac have been enriched with similar features. The first feature is Show Changes, allowing users to view edits made to the workbook and revert to previous states. The other feature is Office Scripts, automating repetitive tasks, now widely deployed to all users.

Other general updates and improvements for Excel versions include: contextual command bar interface and a more modern-looking Ribbon. Contextual menus on the command bar are now faster and resizable.
