Enhance your Excel sheets by coloring backgrounds using the key combination Alt => H => H => select the desired color.
Imagine you have the following data table and want to fill cell B4 with a green color. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Select cell B4.

Step 2: Hold down the Alt key and press H

The result obtained is:

Tip: Use F4 to fill other cells with the same color as the original cell; it's quicker. (F4 is a shortcut for repeating the previous action).
Coloring Text in Excel
Use the shortcut sequence Alt => H => F => C => Select color to color the text in Excel.
For the data table above, you need to color the text in cell B5 red.
Step 1: Select cell B5.

Step 2: Hold down the Alt key and press H. Still holding Alt, press F, then C on the keyboard. The color palette appears; choose the desired color (red).
