Anticipating the 'Sapa Winter Festival 2017' with excitement
According to information from the Sapa District People's Committee, the Sapa Winter Festival 2017, the second edition, will be held from early November to January 03, 2018. It will be divided into two phases, focusing on the dates from December 22–24 and December 29–31. This year's festival includes many outstanding cultural and artistic activities, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the local ethnic groups, promising unforgettable experiences for Sapa's year-end travelers.

In addition, activities such as traditional singing, ethnic musical instrument performances, folk games, and gastronomy will bring you fresh experiences of the traditional cultural and artistic heritage of the local ethnic groups.
Especially, the highlight for this year is the addition of the Fire Dancing Festival of the Red Dao ethnic group – a cultural activity of the Red Dao community held at the end of the year and the beginning of spring, aiming to bring warmth, a bountiful harvest season, prosperity, and safety for the entire year.
