On February 8th, a solemn atmosphere enveloped the provinces of Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, and Quang Nam as they conducted the 2023 Military Conscription Ceremony. Eager citizens selected for military service and the People's Public Security obligations in these provinces set off with enthusiasm, fulfilling their sacred duties to the Fatherland.
Ninh Thuan: 1,155 citizens embark on military service
On the morning of February 8th, Ninh Thuan province simultaneously organized the conscription ceremony for the year 2023 in 7 districts and cities. Among those present to support and encourage the citizens enlisting in Phan Rang-Thap Cham city were Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Ninh Thuan, along with many provincial and city leaders and units receiving new recruits.

Among the 1,155 enlistees, 950 will fulfill their military service obligation, while 205 will serve in the People's Public Security force.
According to the Provincial Military Service Council of Ninh Thuan, the recruitment process this year in various localities within the province has been meticulously implemented, adhering to regulations. Emphasis has been placed on enhancing the quality of recruitment based on the 'three in one' criteria, focusing on selecting recruits with high quality, ensuring health, political awareness, and moral standards.

This year, conscripts in Ninh Thuan are assigned to 9 military units, including: 274th Regiment - Air Defense - Air Force; 957th Brigade - Naval Region 4; Provincial Border Guard Command; 5th Special Forces Regiment; 95th Regiment - 2nd Infantry Division; 305th Infantry Division; 572nd Artillery Regiment; 896th Infantry Regiment, Provincial Military Command, and Provincial Police.

In a solemn atmosphere, the Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham, Chau Thi Thanh Ha, lit the revolutionary flame. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham, Nguyen Thanh Phu, sounded the drum to commence the conscription ceremony, signaling the readiness of the new recruits to fulfill their duties for the Homeland. The city's leadership wishes the new recruits to uphold the traditions of their homeland and families, strive in learning, training, achieve remarkable accomplishments, and excel in their assigned tasks.

Khanh Hoa: 2,151 youths set off for military service
On the same morning, districts, towns, and cities across Khanh Hoa province simultaneously organized the 2023 Military Conscription Ceremony, bidding farewell to 2,151 youths heading for military service. Among them, 1,850 youths will fulfill their military duty, 301 will join the People's Public Security force, and notably, 5 females will serve in the military.

Since early morning, a stream of people from various districts, towns, and cities, adorned with flags, flowers, banners, and slogans, converged at the venues for the conscription ceremony across the province. The festive atmosphere intensified as numerous relatives and friends of the youths gathered on the stands to witness the conscription ceremony and bid farewell to their loved ones heading for military service.

It is known that the youth selected for military service, aged 18 to 22, constitute 87%; nearly 47% have good health (grades 1 and 2); nearly 47.2% have completed high school education; and 11.5% have education beyond high school.

The conscripts are assigned to 10 units, including: 377th Air Defense Division; 132nd Information Brigade; 957th Naval Brigade; 2nd Infantry Division; 315th Infantry Division; 572nd Artillery Regiment; 293rd Engineer Brigade; Provincial Border Guard Command; Provincial Military Command; and Provincial Police.
Da Nang: 1,308 enthusiastic youths embark on military service
Amidst the festive atmosphere of the nationwide conscription day, on February 8th, 1,308 youths from Da Nang eagerly set off for military service in 2023. Among them, 1,012 will fulfill their military duty, and 296 youths will serve in the police force (including 1 female recruit).

According to the City Military Command, this year's 1,308 conscripts are aged 18-27; among them, 76 individuals have excellent health (7.5%), 375 have good health (37.1%); 654 have graduated high school (64.6%); 161 have higher education (15.9%); 1 party member, and 5 officers and workers. Ensuring not only quantity but also the quality of the youth in the recruitment process is improving. Most of this year's conscripts have good health, high educational levels, or stable employment both locally and beyond.

Quang Nam: 2,454 youths participate in military service.
On February 8th, various localities in Quang Nam province simultaneously organized the 2023 Military Conscription Ceremony, enlisting 2,454 youths (including 2,450 males and 4 females). The conscription ceremony this year was swift, efficient, and ensured absolute safety.

The conscripts are assigned to: Military Region 3; Air Defense - Air Force, Naval Forces, Vietnam Coast Guard, General Department of Logistics, Signal Corps, Border Guard Command, General Department 2 (Ministry of Defense); 315th Infantry Division, 270th Engineer Brigade, General Staff, Provincial Military Command (Military Region 5). Among them, 4 youths are party members, aged 18 to 22, totaling 2,124 individuals; 1,147 have good health (grades 1 and 2); 287 have higher education, college, and vocational training.

Amidst the joyful atmosphere as people bid farewell to the youth embarking on their mission to protect the Motherland, we witnessed families and loved ones tightly holding the hands of the soldiers, conveying their emotions through words of encouragement: 'Strive to excellently fulfill your mission, my child'; 'Be a worthy revolutionary soldier, my grandchild'; 'Wishing you always complete your tasks'; 'Stay strong, my dear'... These messages of love and trust help the soldiers confidently stride forward on the path ahead.
