Xiaomi 13S concept boasting sleek, luxurious design with leather back

Recent offerings from Xiaomi have consistently impressed with their aesthetically pleasing designs. It's highly likely that the Xiaomi 13S will inherit this trait, sporting an elegant and luxurious appearance. While the design remains a mystery, considering the possibility of the Xiaomi 13S Series being an upgrade internally from the Xiaomi 13 Series, it's probable that both devices will share the same design. Therefore, I'll be referencing the Xiaomi 13 Pro design concept created by the YouTube channel Science and Knowledge to illustrate. I also hope that the design of the Xiaomi 13S will bear similar traits.

From the video, we can see that the Xiaomi 13S features a back panel crafted from glass accompanied by a slightly curved frame, providing users with a comfortable grip during usage. Moreover, the Xiaomi 13S retains the rectangular camera module with 2 large lenses and 1 smaller lens on the right side, promising to deliver a familiar yet refreshing appearance!

Furthermore, according to the concept video, I also noticed that the Xiaomi 13S comes in a version with a back panel crafted from leather, exuding a luxurious look. I sincerely hope that the Xiaomi 13S will indeed offer this leather variant, as it's been a while since we've seen leather material on smartphones, despite its ability to impart a much sleeker and more luxurious appearance. Moreover, the leather back can help reduce slipperiness and resist sweat and fingerprint smudges, providing an improved grip sensation.

In terms of display, I expect the Xiaomi 13S to adopt a hole-punch design with an AMOLED panel measuring 6.28 inches and Full HD+ resolution, similar to the devices in the Xiaomi 12 or Xiaomi 12S lineup.

Considering the previous generation was praised for its display quality and impressive visual experience with vibrant colors and high color saturation, personally, I hope Xiaomi 13S will see a significant upgrade in resolution, possibly up to 2K, to deliver sharper, more vivid image quality. Therefore, I hope Xiaomi 13S will be equipped with an enhanced version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, possibly named Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 (predicted) next year.

Moreover, I hope Xiaomi 13S will continue to offer two RAM options: 8 GB or 12 GB, to ensure smooth and seamless performance, even during demanding tasks such as gaming. Alongside that, I hope Xiaomi 13S will also come with internal storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB, similar to the standard variant, providing users with ample storage space.

For a flagship-level phone, I hope Xiaomi can balance Xiaomi 13S between battery life and design with a 4,500 mAh battery similar to Xiaomi 12. While this number may not be overly impressive, it should still provide nearly a full day of usage depending on tasks. To compensate for battery life, I also expect the company to support 67 W fast charging for Xiaomi 13S. According to some previous announcements from Xiaomi regarding battery capacity and charging power, users should only need around 39 minutes to fully charge from 0 to 100%!

Furthermore, Xiaomi 13S also features an impressive camera system with specifications revealed by GizBird as follows:

According to Specs Tech, the price of Xiaomi 13S in the Indian market is 51,000 INR (approximately 15.2 million VND), which seems reasonable considering what Xiaomi 13S can offer to users.
