The Amazon Alexa application is now available on Microsoft Store, functioning on both x64 and x86 hardware, requiring the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (v1803). This means the application will still operate on ARM-based Windows 10 computers, albeit through emulation.

In addition, the application also supports modern Windows 10 design features, utilizing Fluent Design elements such as Acrylic and corresponding Dark Mode with system settings. Unfortunately, the app on Microsoft Store lacks similar functionalities as its mobile counterpart.
Users can utilize Alexa on their PC to perform various tasks similar to the smart speaker Echo, provided the computer is equipped with a microphone. The application functions similarly, even playing music from Amazon Prime accounts, reading books from Audible, controlling lights, checking weather forecasts, reading news, and more.
Downloading books from Amazon is also straightforward. If you already have an account, you can refer to how to download books on Amazon here. If you don't have an account yet, you can learn how to create an Amazon Unlimited account here.
Alexa is currently available on Microsoft Store in countries like the US, UK, and Germany, with plans for the application to expand to many other markets in the coming year.
