Accompanying the introduction of new heroes is the 7.30 Dota 2 update, promising a plethora of fresh changes to both the item system and heroes alike. Valve, the publisher, has disclosed that the update will reach players from late October to mid-November this year.
The Outlanders update for Dota 2 introduces two new heroes
Valve announced the release of Snapfire on the third day of The International 2019 Main Event. Accompanied by a teaser video introducing the new hero in Dota 2. Snapfire's appearance suggests she is a ranged support character. From her use of a cookie with Invoker's image on it, it seems like Snapfire buffs other heroes in some way.
Snapfire also pulls out a gun and shoots Timbersaw as he tries to steal the cookie. It could be her auto-attack or another skill for damage, likely magical.
And a dragon serves as Snapfire's mount to chase down Batrider, using a mounted gun to take down this hero. Once again, it seems to be an auto-attack or some passive skill of Snapfire. The final moment emphasized is when her dragon unleashes a stone attack from its mouth onto Timbersaw (similar to BB's skill 1). This execution suggests it's more significant than other skills and could possibly be her ultimate ability.
Void Spirit
Transcended from Dota 1 to Dota 2, Storm Spirit was one of the first characters of the Spirit lineage imbued with lightning. However, in 2013, Valve released Ember Spirit and Earth Spirit, introducing them as Spirit Brothers. Each Spirit brother draws power from one of Earth's elements like Fire, Lightning, and Earth. For a long time, rumors circulated that Valve would release the fourth Spirit brother, and finally, they manifested as Void Spirit.
Not much is revealed about Void Spirit except that he resides in the Void realm at all times. Void Spirit holds vast knowledge, and nothing from the void realm can escape his gaze. He concludes his speech by stating that it's time for him to join his brothers in battle.
Following his speech, Void Spirit teleports to the arena of The International 2019. His instant teleportation ability is certainly a crucial skill of his (similar to the Ultimates of other characters like IO, Underloesds, or Nature Prophet's Teleport). Finally, Void Spirit completes his part by drawing out a sleek double-edged sword, a hallmark of a melee character capable of making an impact in Dota 2.
The Outlanders update for Dota 2 is set to roll out in the game this autumn, introducing the duo of characters Snapfire and Void Spirit, promising to bring about significant changes in the current meta.
