According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new AirPods Pro will feature a significantly upgraded wireless chip compared to the H1 chip in the current AirPods Pro. The new chip may be named 'H2' and will come with notable improvements.
Kuo did not specify the benefits the new chip will bring, but considering the H1 chip supports functions related to sound, the upgraded H2 processor in AirPods Pro 2 could enhance sound quality, reduce latency, active noise cancellation, transparency mode, Siri-supported features, and more. Additionally, the upgraded chip may also support Apple Lossless audio.
Extended Battery Life
While there haven't been any definite rumors about the new AirPods Pro having longer battery life, it's reasonable to expect Apple to improve this aspect as it's been almost three years since the original AirPods Pro debuted.
Enhancements to Charging Case
