1. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Fireworks Display
On the occasion of the liberation of the South on April 30th, 2016, Hanoi will set off low-altitude fireworks, lasting about 15 minutes. There have been no official announcements regarding the organization of fireworks in Hanoi by the city government. However, the expected time and location are at 9:00 PM on April 30th, 2016, at 5 locations: Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung), Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho), Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong District), and My Dinh National Stadium (Nam Tu Liem).
Ho Chi Minh City will also organize a low-altitude fireworks display. The scheduled time for the fireworks is from 10:00 PM to 10:15 PM at 2 shooting points in the Saigon River Tunnel area (Thủ Thiêm Ward, District 2) and Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11. The Department of Transport will deploy traffic control forces at entertainment areas and Saigon entrances to ensure smooth traffic during the holidays.
2. Danang Music and Light Festival
Currently, Danang is one of the top tourist destinations attracting many visitors. Tourists can consider the festivals in Danang on April 30th and May 1st, 2016, to plan a trip to Danang during this holiday.
Every year, on April 30th, Danang hosts a music and light festival. Here, tourists will immerse themselves in unique musical compositions combined with modern and unique lighting techniques. 3. Hue Festival

Imperial Nights, on May 1st and May 3rd, 2016, at the Imperial Citadel (with dinner starting at 7:30 PM at Cần Chánh Court – the Imperial Citadel);
Showcasing the essence of Hue's traditional arts with “Returning to the Ancient Capital”, on May 1st and May 2nd, 2016 (official program at 7:30 PM on May 2nd, 2016) at Kim Long village temple;
Lantern Festival, 8:00 PM on May 1st, 2016, at Thuong Bac Park;
Street festivals of East Asian and Latin American countries, on May 1st and May 3rd, 2016, on main streets in Hue city;
Tế Giao Ceremony, 12:05 AM on April 29th, 2016, at Nam Giao Esplanade;
“Ancient Perfume Village” festival, from April 30th to May 2nd, 2016, at Phuoc Tich ancient village, Phong Hoa commune, Phong Dien district;
“Countryside Fair” festival, from April 30th to May 4th, 2016, at Thanh Toan Tile Bridge, Hương Thủy town;
Children's festival “Colorful Childhood”, from April 30th to May 2nd, 2016, at Hue Children's House and Nguyen Van Troi Park;

4. Halong Carnival 2016
As per the announcement by the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, the artistic program of Halong Carnival 2016 and Carnival Music Night 2016 with the theme “Halong: City of Tourism – Civilization – Friendliness” will take place on April 29th, 2016, at 30-10 Square, Halong City.
The expected program includes the opening ceremony and artistic performances by professional artists, singers, actors, and performers.
This festival has been annually organized since 2007. The new feature of Carnaval 2016 compared to previous years is the inclusion of artistic performances with music and artistic lighting throughout, creating an exhilarating and vibrant night for tourists and locals in Quang Ninh.
