Price and Release Date
OnePlus Nord 3 is set to debut on July 5th in India. The launch event is scheduled for 7:00 PM IST (around 20:00 Vietnam time).
In terms of pricing, this smartphone is expected to start at 32,999 INR (approximately 9.53 million VND) for the base variant with 8GB + 128GB, and the premium variant with 12GB + 256GB is speculated to be priced at 36,999 INR (around 10.96 million VND).
Design Resembles OnePlus Ace 2V
According to recent leaks, OnePlus Nord 3 appears to be a rebranded version of the previously launched OnePlus Ace 2V in the Chinese market, with a different main camera. Therefore, OnePlus Nord 3 bears resemblance to OnePlus Ave 2V and shares the same chipset, battery,... with the only difference being the main camera.
The product boasts a premium design.The device features a premium appearance with a modern hole-punch display on the front, a dual-camera cluster located at the top left corner of the back, and rounded edges to provide a more comfortable grip for users.
OnePlus Nord 3 will come in Tempest Grey and Misty Green colors. Tempest Grey option will feature a matte finish, while Misty Green will have a glossy finish.
Powerful Performance
Nord 3 will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC. In official teasers, OnePlus revealed that the phone will only use the 'highest-grade chipset' but did not disclose the specific chip. However, leaks suggest that this phone will use the Dimensity 9000 SoC.
Dimensity 9000 chip will provide the horsepower for OnePlus Nord 3.This is a premium processor from MediaTek, offering performance that can rival Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors. The product is also confirmed to come with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Quality Flat AMOLED Display
OnePlus stated that they have removed the plastic frame commonly found in phones (between the screen and the bezel) to make the borders of Nord 3 thinner than ever.
The Nord 3 display is of high quality.In terms of specs, the phone features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This display also has a maximum brightness of up to 1,450 nits and supports HDR10+. It is also protected by Asahi Glass toughened glass.
Premium Camera
OnePlus Nord 3 uses the same main camera sensor as OnePlus 11, which is the Sony IMX890 with OIS support. This camera also features an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it will have a 16MP sensor for users to take selfies and video calls.
Nord 3 boasts a premium triple rear camera system.Large Battery Supporting Ultra-Fast Charging
Nord 3 will feature a 5,000mAh battery supporting SuperVOOC 80W fast charging. It will not have wireless charging or reverse charging capabilities as it belongs to the mid-range segment. Finally, this smartphone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and high-quality stereo speakers.
